On Wednesday, December 1, 2021, officials from the Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) paid a visit to the National Food Buffer Stock Company (NAFCO).
The aim of the visit was to educate staff members on the pension scheme, and it included details such as the calculation of monthly benefits, update of personal records and the age range within which the law requires one to make contributions to the scheme.
Staff members were also taught how to project and calculate benefits upon retirement from active service.
Participants were then given the opportunity to ask questions and share experiences with respect to contributions made to the scheme.
