Congratulations to our Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Hanan Abdul-Wahab for receiving the Special African Business Leadership Commendation Award last night during the just-ended International Forum on African-Caribbean Leadership organised by the London-based African Leadership Organisation, publishers of the African Leadership Magazine in New York on the sidelines of the 77th UN General Session.
The award is in recognition of his work in ensuring food security in Ghana.
The award was presented to him by the Prime Minister of St. Lucia, H.E Phillip J. Pierre.
The Forum was opened by the President of Guyana, H.E Ifraan Ali was attended by an array of dignitaries including the Prime Ministers of Antiqua; St. Kitts & Nevis, Gen. Rtd. William Ward, first Commander of the U.S African Command Center; business and diplomatic leaders.
Hanan dedicated his latest award to H.E President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for the opportunity to serve, the Board of National Food Buffer Stock Company and all other stakeholders, including our hardworking Licensed Food Buyers and Suppliers.
